Demonstrating Corporate Social Responsibility by Hiring the Disadvantaged Community


The Group has always advocated the spirit of helping others, and has showed solicitude for the disadvantaged community (including senior citizens aged 65 or above, person with intellectual disabilities and non-technical person etc.). We hope to provide a suitable on-the-job platform for them and to experience the reasonable treatment as our typical employees, so that they will not endure from social elimination.

As of the end of May 2020, the Group has employed approximately 6,400 workers aged 65 or above, accounting for approximately 43% of the total number of employees. Moreover, we have hired approximately 60 workers with intellectual disabilities to join our team for the recent receipt of a new cleaning service contract, which accounts for approximately 25% of the overall manpower of the contract. On one hand, we hope to endeavor to the society under the pandemic, to ease the issue of unemployment. On the other hand, we hope to help the disadvantaged community under the severe economic environment, so that they are able to contribute to the society with their strengths, thereby improve their livings.

Since the establishment of the Company over 40 years ago, we have always kept our original aspiration. In addition to endeavor in environmental hygiene service, we also provided job opportunities for the disadvantaged community in Hong Kong. As a local company, it is our responsibility and mission to believe they are able to be self-reliant and contribute to the society with their own strengths. Furthermore, with the recent pandemic, the demand of environmental hygiene service has raised significantly, and our demand of manpower has also increased accordingly. Therefore, the Group can take this chance to create more job opportunities for all walks of the community.
